Two artists. One encounter.A shared space for art.
“What began with one unexpected encounter at an exhibition has grown into a shared vision. And now it opens its first chapter.”
Barcelona
Our story began in Barcelona, where we met at an international exhibition. We had both come as artists, each with our own work, experience and way of seeing the world. We hit it off from the very first meeting. We were connected not only by a love of art, but also by a similar energy, openness and desire to create new things.
Netvořice × Rome
Although one of us lives in Netvořice and the other in Rome, distance was never an obstacle. Our first conversations gradually grew into a friendship, shared ideas into a collaboration, and eventually into a company of our own. More and more often we talked about what it would be like to have our own gallery one day – a place that would not be just a space for exhibiting paintings, but above all a place for encounters, inspiration and new artistic stories.
ART + IV + SPACE
That is also how the name ARTIVSPACE came about. The word ART expresses what brought us together – art. In the middle stands IV, our initials – Ivana and Veronika. And SPACE represents the space we had long imagined and wanted to create together. The name thus carries not only the essence of the gallery, but also our personal story.
Benediktská 9, Prague
Today our dream has a real form and an address in the historic centre of Prague. ARTIVSPACE Gallery is a place where we want to present distinctive artists, bring their work closer to people and create an environment in which art, emotions and new perspectives meet naturally.

Where history continues
Benediktská is one of the oldest streets in Prague's Old Town. Originally known as “Behind the Meat Stalls”, it later took its name from the Church of Saint Benedict. Although the church was demolished in 1792, its name still lives on. We believe contemporary art never enters a place without a past. It responds to history, transforms it and opens new perspectives.
History does not end. It continues with contemporary art.Contact and map
