About the artist
Adam Řeháček is a Czech painter and musician whose work brings together people, animals and nature in dreamlike narratives on the boundary between reality and imagination. He began creating art in childhood but returned fully to painting and drawing after studying at the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University. His oil and acrylic paintings incorporate visible sketches and deliberately unfinished areas, giving them a raw quality and a distinctive character. A melancholic atmosphere and unexpected connections invite viewers to pause, reflect and discover stories of their own. At ORIGIN 01, he presents Waiting for the Ship.
