Under the Water
A glimpse beneath the surface. Two sharply cut, polished planes of vivid green glass close into a drop shape, hiding an interior of crumpled, rippling relief – like disturbed water or a coral reef. Towards the base the green deepens into a cool blue, so the light passing through the sculpture casts a blue-green shadow.

Dmitriy Tsybenko
Dmitriy Tsybenko is a glass artist and designer from Kazakhstan, based in Prague. He studied at the glassmaking school in Kamenický Šenov and later at the Faculty of Art and Design at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
