Lucia Boaghe

Lucia Boaghe is a Moldovan-born visual artist who lives and works in London. Her journey led her from philology and interior design to studying fine art at Chelsea College of Arts. Life between cultures has deepened her interest in migration, shaping her exploration of identity, memory and connections to her roots. At ORIGIN 01, she presents The Sunset, part of a diptych connecting sunrise and sunset. A delicate sunflower in shades of purple reflects the alternation of light and darkness and the changing nature of human life. Firmly rooted in the earth and turning towards the sun, it evokes the hope we hold onto even in difficult times. The work resonates with the theme of ORIGIN as a return to our roots and the inner source from which strength and creativity grow.
