Michaela Chumchalová

Michaela Chumchalová is a Slovak-born artist based in Přerov, Moravia, who creates under the name MICHE art. Her work ranges from portraiture and figurative painting to abstraction. Working primarily with acrylic paints and texture paste, she is guided by intuition, emotion and whatever resonates with her in the moment. Women and their inner worlds are her central themes. Painting is both her passion and a space of freedom, where she can be herself and let her works speak. At ORIGIN 01, she presents Awakening, a painting that explores the idea of a beginning as an inner birth. It captures the moment when we begin to recognise our own worth, strength and identity, as a new chapter of life opens and we are symbolically born again – this time, for ourselves.
