Veronika Švédová

Veronika Švédová is a Czech painter based in Brno who has pursued painting professionally since 2004. Her work brings together the female figure, nature and emotion. Combining oil, acrylic and charcoal with relief elements, her distinctive style is characterised by floral motifs and vibrant colours. She sees the canvas as a story in which warm and cool tones meet in a natural balance. Her paintings are held in private collections in the Czech Republic, other European countries and Saudi Arabia. At ORIGIN 01, she presents Birth, a painting exploring origin as the primal source of life and a return to one’s essence. The woman becomes a symbol of a new beginning.
